About 3D Print

How do the 3D printers work?

“3D printing” is a term that refers to a variety of processes and technologies in which material is joined or solidified, layer by layer, under digital control to create a three-dimensional object. That is why it is also called additive manufacturing (AM) in contrast to traditional methods of production that are primarily subtractive in nature.

Due to the nature of AM, 3D printing encourages and drives innovation with unprecedented design freedom. 3D printing also appears to be an energy-efficient technology that can provide environmental efficiencies concerning the manufacturing process itself.

Can I use multiple colours?

With our 3d printing collection, you can only print in one color at a time. But we would recommend to you, if you wished to print an object in multiple colors, to divide the object in several smaller parts and print one part at a time in the color you prefer.

How can I design my own models?

The only thing you need to use with your 3D panther printer is Marlin. Just download the firmware and you are ready to go.

Reliable and precise, Marlin delivers outstanding print quality while keeping you in full control of the process.

Can multiple materials be used?

Your 3D Panther is able to use different types of materials/filaments, based on your needs. Currently we are providing a wide variety of filaments:

  • PLA: The most popular 3D printing material. Easy to print, economical, and available in many colors.
  • PETG: Is a tough material that has a good thermal stability. PETG has a small shrinkage margin during printing which makes it suitable for printing large objects. PETG has mechanical and thermal properties better than ABS and PLA printing properties.
  • ABS/ASA: Suitable for print objects that are thermally stable to 85°C and higher temperature too. This  acetone-soluble polymer is suitable for open chamber print
  • FLEX
  • SPECIALS
